Tile & Kitchen Showroom in King's Lynn, Norfolk

We believe our showroom is truly unique both in it’s size and the vast array of tile & stone products we showcase throughout the 13,500 sq feet. Just over 40 years ago, Sally Chenery our founder & mother purchased the derelict Elizabethan farmhouse now known as Fitton Oake, with a dream of restoring it to it’s former glory and to convert the barns on site into an antiques centre. During the renovation process Sally found that the nearest large tile shop with a nice selection of choice was an hours drive away in Norwich. So, with Sally’s entrepreneurial nature she decided to purchase full lorry loads of tiles from the Norwich based tile shop at a cut price and sell them from the barns she had once earmarked for antiques. The part of the showroom that was first opened, measured in at under 600 sq feet a tiny section of our now large grounds. Over the next 35 years the showroom was continually developed by opening larger sections of each of the barns on site. The final alterations were made a few years back which saw us open a stand alone discount tile warehouse and a large landscaping area showcasing natural stone and porcelain paving.

It has always been a running family joke that Sally actually cared for and brought up 3 children, Louise, Edward & the tile shop being her 3^rd baby. This is clearly evident when you see the attention to detail throughout our showroom and grounds. We are incredibly proud of what our parents achieved throughout the years, they created a business that against all the odds thrived & we have now become one of the largest importers of tiles & natural stone in the country. Considering we are a team of just 5 is pretty impressive to say the least, we have a small team but aim big, so fingers crossed here’s to another 40 years of success & growth.
